Create a playlist on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Android device
- Open the Apple Music app.
- At the bottom of your screen, tap Library.
- Tap Playlists.
- Tap New Playlist.
- Give your playlist a name, then tap Add Music.
- Search for music that you want to add, tap it, then tap Done. On Android, tap Done .
- Tap Done or Done .
You can also touch and hold a song, album, or playlist. Then tap Add to a Playlist to add the music to an existing one, or tap New Playlist.
Create a playlist on your iPad
To turn on Collaborative playlist on desktop, right click (Ctrl-click on Mac) a playlist in the left panel and select 'Collaborative Playlist'. If the playlist is currently playing, you can also click on '.' Icon and select Collaborative Playlist. On the Mobile or Tablet. You can import your playlists from either Apple Music or Spotify Premium, find new music from the catalogue, and share songs in-app so that your friends can listen using their own subscription.

You can also touch and hold a song, album, or playlist until it lifts up. Then drag the music to an existing playlist or New Playlist in the sidebar.
Create a playlist on your Mac or PC
- Open the Apple Music app or iTunes.
- In the menu bar, choose File > New > Playlist.
- Give your playlist a name.
- Drag and drop music to your playlist in the sidebar.
